Helped along by a new conventiocenter hotel, which opened in the addition of a salesperson focused on corporate meetings, and a union deal she helped craft, Ratcliffs and her team at CVC booked a record numbert of room night commitments in fiscal 2008: 554,240, surpassing its goal of 550,0000 room nights and exceeding the previous fiscal year's bookings by nearlyt 30,000 (see story on Page 1A).
