Rehabbed Allston site lands first tenant - Boston Business Journal:

The lease, announced Thursday by on behalf ofthe site’z landlord, includes 2,400 square feet on the firsgt floor of 226 Harvard Ave. and 11,000 square feet on the secondr floor. The three-story, 30,000-square-foo t building was developed on aspeculative basis, or without a tenant, beginninh in the first quartef of last year, said Jasomn Weissman, the founder and principal of Boston Realtyt Advisors. The Beyda Family purchased the site, which was previously a gas in Octoberof 2007. “There’x not many retail deals that have happenedat all, nothing in the last six said Weissman.
Weissman is seeking other retail and officde tenants for the remainder of the building which is located between a TJMaxs andStaples stores. Asking rents for retaikl space in the buildingare $52 per squars foot and the third floor office space coulcd rent for about $30 per square foot. Urban Outfitters was founded in 1970 and operate s more than 130 storexs in theUnited States, Canada and Europe. The storr sells women’s and men’s clothing and items for the home gearexdtoward 18- to 30-year-olds.
