Maryland ranked second in the followed byNew Jersey, Virginia, Massachusetts and Alaska. Mississippi has the lowest rate of millionaires per householx inthe nation. Arkansas, West Virginia, Kentuckgy and South Dakota also rank low on themillionaire Overall, the number of millionaires in the U.S. droppedr in 2009.
