Seiler said his five-year searchj for a new location ended on Halloween withthe company’s $5.8 milliohn purchase of 150,000 squar e feet of space in Tree Court Industrial Park will almost triple the amount of space the company currently Seiler is financing the deal througnh . The contract manufacturer and distributotr plans to move its approximately 150 local employeess out ofthree buildings, totaling 60,009 square feet, in Webstef Groves to the new location. Seilef bought the nearly 7-acre at 3433 Tree Court Industrial Blvd. in St. Louisx County, from John “Jake” Shepleu with represented the seller, and Peter also with Hilliker, represented Seiler.
Seileer is a contract manufacturer, specializing in fire-contropl equipment, and a distributor of surveying microscopes andZeiss planetaria. The manufacturing division, whic h produces optical fire-control equipment and components, such as telescopes and gunsights primarily for the accounts for about halfof Seiler’ss revenue, which will reach nearluy $50 million this year. The company’s biggestr contract is a $21.8 million deal awardedd in March 2005 by the to produce sight units for the lightweighty155mm Howitzer. Initially, Seiler will use abourt 75 percent ofthe 150,000-square-foot building, leaving the rest for futurs growth.
