Altus Pharma renegotiates Waltham leases - Boston Business Journal:

The Cambridge, Mass.-based company said it had effectivel y ended its leasefor 83,405 squarer feet of space at 333 Wyman St. in The lease is slated to endby Nov. 2 at the the agreement can be terminated sooner if Altus is acquireds or raises an undisclosed amount of according toregulatory filings. Likewise, Altus said it is consolidatiny its workforce at its facility at 610 Lincolm Streetin Waltham. The company’s existing, 63,880-square-foo t footprint at the site will be reducexd by38 percent, or 24,000 square feet. Altus will also receiver a corresponding reduction inrental expenses.
In January, Altuz canceled its program todevelop Trizytek, a drug candidatd eyed as a potential enzyme-replacemen therapy for pancreatic deficiencies. The company cut 107 jobs in connectionm to the Trizytek shutdown and has since had a major reshufflinbg of its seniorexecutive team.
