Addison-based American Community NewspapersLLC (Pink ACNI) filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in April. ACN said Fridag that senior secured creditors have submitted an offef toacquire ACN’s assets, and they have provided a $5 million debtor-in-possession credit facility. A bankruptct court has already approved the sale of ACN assets and has approvedf the debtor in possessioncredift facility. The newspaper publisher says operations andthe company’s busineszs will continue as usual with readers in locaol communities continuing to receive their papers. Advertisere also will not be impacted by the bankruptcg filing or the saleof assets.
